Fuel Watch

Know where every litre went, and where it did not.

Capacitive fuel level sensors measure the tank continuously. Safekarry matches every refuel against your fuel card data and flags sudden drops while parked, so a 38 litre theft at a roadside stop shows up the same night, not at month end.

How it works

Four stops from fitting to results.

  1. Fit the sensor

A calibrated capacitive sensor is fitted in the tank and sealed. Each tank is calibrated litre by litre.

  2. Connect fuel cards

Upload or connect your fuel card statements so every refuel can be matched to a pump, a time and a litre count.

  3. Watch for drops

Any drop larger than your threshold while the engine is off raises an instant alert with location.

  4. Compare mileage

See km per litre for each trip and driver against the expected figure for that route and load.

Capabilities

What Fuel Watch does on every trip.

  • Sudden drop and drain alerts while parked
  • Refuels matched against fuel card transactions
  • Mileage in km per litre by trip, vehicle and driver
  • Idling fuel burn totalled every day

Theft and drain alerts

Drops above a set litre threshold while parked trigger an alert with time, place and a graph of the tank level.

Fuel card matching

Refuel litres from the sensor are compared to the litres billed, so short filling at pumps is visible.

Mileage by trip

Km per litre for every trip, split by loaded and empty legs, compared with the route benchmark.

Idling burn

Litres burnt while idling, added up per vehicle and driver every day.

Monthly fuel reconciliation

One sheet per vehicle with opening level, refuels, consumption, drops and closing level.

Low fuel on route

Warns when a vehicle will not reach the next approved pump on its current level.

Reading the display

Four colours. No guessing.

The same signal colours run through the map, the driver app and every report, so a supervisor on the night shift knows what to do at a glance.

  • Drain alert

Drop of 15 L or more with engine off

  • Short fill

Billed litres higher than litres received

  • Refuel

Refuel matched to a fuel card entry

  • Low fuel

Next approved pump out of range

Questions

About Fuel Watch

Need a fleet-specific answer? Connect with sales.

Which vehicles can take a fuel sensor?

Most diesel trucks, tankers, buses and generator-mounted vehicles. We check tank shape and material before fitting.

Do we need fuel sensors to use Fuel Watch?

For theft alerts, yes. Without sensors, Fuel Watch still calculates mileage from fuel card data and distance driven.

Can fuel sensors be bought or rented?

Both. Sensors can be bought outright or rented monthly. See the hardware section on the Plans page.
